Sally Brauer; beneficiary guest speaker:Â
Sally has nearly 20 years business experience, working predominately in global professional services organisations where she held senior management positions in Learning and Leadership Development. Sally wanted to take her passion for working with individuals and teams further - this led her into coaching. Throughout her career, she has worked with people to discover their motivations, values, strengths and, importantly, solutions to assess their career direction and increase their well-being.Â
As a mum of 2 girls, she understands the challenges of managing work and life – and how important it is for women and girls to see that they have the same opportunities as everyone else. She is passionate about empowering women to be resilient and helping them to overcome hurdles that may be in the way.
Sally is passionate about her role as Vice Chair of Dress for Success Perth.
Dress For Success:Â
Dress for Success Perth is a volunteer-powered Western Australian charity that is part of a global movement for change. We empower vulnerable women in Perth and regional WA to achieve employment and financial independence.
Donations of high-quality clothing from the community stock our professional clothing ‘boutique’, where volunteers provide confidence-boosting styling and outfits for job interviews, new jobs, and other significant life events (e.g. court dates, funerals). Volunteer-delivered career workshops and 1:1 job application and interview support instil the skills and confidence needed for marginalised women to overcome the barriers to employment, and thrive in work and life.
