About the Event
This month we are celebrating International Women's Day. Feminism is for every body.
It is time to talk empowerment and inclusivity for the wonderful females in our professional environments.
This session is JAM PACKED with a short presentation about Endometriosis WA by Tegan Phillips (Board Secretary / Inaugural Board Member) and then we have Alison van Lent joining us to talk about her story.
Alison is the WA state winner Maptek Woman in Resources Technological Innovation Award. She will share her incredible experience working in a male dominated industry. We are so excited for you to hear Alison's story.
Our beneficiary for Formal Uprising in March is Endometriosis Western Australia who is not-for-profit organisation providing people living with endometriosis, including their family and carers, with access to the best quality information and support via an online peer support group and bimonthly educational workshops . EndometriosisWA is volunteer driven, and also seeks to raise awareness, educate both members and the broader community, and engage in endometriosis-related research in Western Australia.
50% of our ticket sales will go to this months feature organisation, Endometriosis WA.
